We make ourselves available to assist the local public in finding lost items.
Our club members work with each other to help improve personal skills and knowledge of the hobby and the many other interests that are generated from the hobby of metal detecting, like coin collecting and grading, history research techniques and map reading and interpretation. We enjoy sharing the hobby with the many friends and friendships that are built within our club.
We currently have 27 registered members. Most of our club members are located in Lake, Cook, and McHenry counties in Illinois. Many of our club members support the FMDAC, and our club is referenced on the FMDAC club webpage for Illinois.
